However Sayadaw U Vinaya was born on 5th August, Burmese days were preferable in the religious purpose. That’s why Sayadaw U Vinaya’s birthday ceremony was always held on the Burmese day in every year.

Sunlun Sayadaw U Wara held Sayadaw’s birthday at Sunlun Monastery on 26th August of 2018. It was the full moon day of Wah-Kaung in Burmese calendar. People attended and participated in the alms-giving ceremony.

After doing the deed of merit, and we all were saying Well-done (Sadhu) three times. It was the act of sharing our good deed to others. One gained the same amount of merit as we do.
